2012 Pencils of Promise Guatemala with Adam and Scooter

A Note from Reina:

“When I started Reina + Co I wanted to impact not only myself and my home life, but my clients and the bigger global community at large. Being a social worker, it was really important to me to show that we take care of one another, that we are able to continuously give of ourselves.

This is the reason I call myself a Heart-Centered Business Owner.

So I made a commitment. By December 2018 we will raise $35,000 to build a school in Latin America. I’m really excited for this cause because not only does it fuel my personal desire to give back to the world, but my clients are able to give back as well by investing in me.

Part of the revenue I earn from my clients goes directly to Pencils of Promise to build that school.

When clients start with Reina + Co, I want them to know they’re not only investing in me, but in the global community. They are investing in children’s’ education. As a social worker I saw the impact of education on not only this generation but generations at large that follow.

When we are committed to education: we are really empowering the world.

As I go to work everyday, my son goes to school, and has the benefit of being a system that teaches him so much, and then he comes home with that knowledge. It’s really incredible that my son can go to school, be cared for, and be loved on, and be poured into. He comes home fulfilled and happy, excited to share what he learned that day. In other parts of the world, that’s not always available. That education and the support and the community might not be there.

My solution is to connect with a community to build a school that will greatly impact their story of education, of hope, of next generations. And what can come when we take care of one another.”
